Aquadrive engine couplings for powers between 5 and 235 HP.
The components that make an Aquadrive system are:
- The CV – Constant Velocity – drive shaft
- The Gearbox adapter, available in different models for coupling to almost any gearbox flange
- The rubber mounted thrust bearing that relieves the engine from axial propeller loads
- Soft, resilient engine mounts for efficient isolation of structure born vibration to the hull
All components are designed to meet the highest requirements.
Flexibility Beyond Comparison with the Aquadrive CV Shaft

Description
The AQUADRIVE takes the strain. The ultimate in flexible couplings. For engines from 5 to 350 Horsepower.
Accepts up to 16 degrees of angular misalignment.
Consists of: CV Shaft – Thrust bearing assembly – Shaft Clamp
Plus a gearbox adaptor to match the CV shaft to the gearbox.
Advise:
Application: Pleasure or Commercial – (Estimated annual running hours)
Maximum horsepower – Maximum R.P.M. – Gearbox type and reduction – Shaft size – Combined angle on the CV shaft
Given the above information, we can make a life calculation and advise the Model you require.
