EXISTING TYPE A PSS SHAFT SEALS CAN BE UPGRADED BY FITTING A PSS PRO MAINTENANCE KIT

As with any rubber or silicone hose below the waterline, the PSS PRO bellows must be inspected regularly for any signs of wear, aging, or chemical deterioration. PYI suggests preventative maintenance with a precautionary replacement recommendation in 8-10 year intervals for the PRO bellows. During bellows replacement, it is recommended that the o-rings and set screws in the stainless steel rotor also be replaced.
