Lasdrop EliteSeal Dripless Propeller Shaft Seal

Description

The Lasdrop EliteSeal combines a compact marine lip seal with an integrated spare-seal housing, making future servicing easier. Its sealing lip maintains low-friction contact with the propeller shaft to prevent water entering the boat, while a built-in water-lubricated bearing helps the housing follow the shaft and maintain correct alignment.

When the working seal needs replacing, the split faceplate allows a pre-installed spare to be moved into position without withdrawing the propeller shaft or removing the complete assembly. This simplifies maintenance and helps reduce labour costs.

Each EliteSeal includes one spare lip seal, stored around the shaft inside a dedicated protective compartment. The compartment accommodates a second spare, available separately.

Key Features

• Simplified seal replacement: Split faceplate provides access to the working lip seal without specialist installation tools.

• One spare seal included: Stored ready for future use, with space for an additional spare.

• Integrated alignment bearing: Water-lubricated bearing helps maintain the housing’s position relative to the shaft.

• Durable copolymer housing: Houses and supports the sealing components in a compact assembly.

• Reinforced silicone hose: Blue silicone mounting hose incorporates polyester reinforcement.

• Water connection ports: Provide connections for cooling and lubrication.

• Flexible installation options: Flange adaptors and bespoke sizing are available on request.
